Privacy Policy

This explains what happens to your information when you buy from The RN Desk. The short version: we collect very little, we do not sell anything to anyone, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.
What we collect
- Your email address, so we can send your download link and answer you if you write to us.
- An order record — a random reference, the Paddle transaction id, the status, and the date. This is what lets you get your download back later.
- Anything you write to us by email.
That is the whole list.
What we never see
We never see your card number, your bank details, or your billing address. Payment happens entirely inside Paddle's checkout, on Paddle's systems. Nothing about your card ever reaches this website or its server.
Who else is involved
- Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record. It processes your payment, handles tax and invoicing, and sends your receipt. It is a data controller in its own right for that, under its own privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
- Our hosting provider stores this website and its order records, and keeps standard server logs.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces this site uses, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers.
Nobody else. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or third-party trackers, and we do not run a newsletter you did not ask for.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and does no tracking. Paddle's checkout sets what it needs to process your payment and prevent fraud; that is covered by Paddle's policy.
Why we are allowed to hold it
We keep your email and order record to deliver what you bought and to support you afterwards — that is performance of our contract with you. We keep transaction records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we sell the pack, so that you can always recover your download. Ask us to delete yours and we will, though that also ends your ability to re-download.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@therndesk.com and we will act within 30 days. If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
For anything to do with your payment, invoice or card, contact Paddle — they hold that data, not us.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Order records and the product file are stored outside the public web folder, so no web address reaches them. Download links are individually signed and expire.
Children
This is a study resource for nursing students and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
